About The ASCM Salary Survey and This Calculator
This salary calculator is based on a survey conducted by ASCM in 2020.
Sample Composition and Data Collection
The potential respondent list included the following populations:
- Emailable US-based ASCM members and non-member customers with a transaction within the last 365 days who have a valid opted-in email address to ASCM communications (excluding those classified by ASCM as consultants, professors, students, or retired)
- Those who may have received the survey passed along to them
- ASCM or APICS website visits
- ASCM social media
Data was collected via online survey from January 15 to February 3, 2020. The survey was closed for tabulation with 2467 responses from the United States
To best represent the audience of interest, results were filtered to include only those who indicated they were employed in the supply chain field as of October 15, 2019, and worked in the United States a majority of the time. They also had to have indicated that they work 35 or more hours in a typical week in their primary position in the supply chain field.
Complete details may be found in the full report.
About This Calculator
This salary calculator includes data from all 2,661 respondents employed full time (35+ hrs/week) in the supply chain field as of October 15, 2019, and worked in the US a majority of the time who provided compensation information. Data from respondents included in the calculator entered a response for their position level.
By checking off boxes on the salary calculator page, the user can build a nearly infinite number of different queries on this data. Clicking NO FILTER removes all filters for that variable.
The results show three percentiles (25th, 50th, and 75th) of data for both the user's selection situation and for all reported survey respondents (for comparison).
Note that results are not displayed if fewer than 5 cases meet the selection criteria — when this happens, revise your selections by checking more boxes or NO FILTER for variables of interest.
